We walk through them and feel weightless. Other times, they’re muddled and heavy, like rain-soaked hay as darkness falls. We wonder whether we should start feeling afraid — only to realise we already are, just a little…

The new NonSen(s) circus performance is built around aerial and ground acrobatics. It’s rooted in fantasy and illusion — in undefinable and unclassifiable ideas whose very point is to have no point, yet they speak to us. Deep down, each of us understands them in our own way.

It’s a performance about dreams — daydreams and night-time visions, desires and secret wishes. About nightmares, childhood imaginings, skeletons in the closet and mum’s dresses. About how, in our uniqueness, we actually share a great deal.

How many of us have fallen in a dream but never landed? Tried to run but couldn’t move?
Who’s dreamt of losing their teeth?

Who’s imagined what they’d say in a talk show, or secretly rehearsed an Oscar acceptance speech
And who’s always wanted to eat a whole jar of Nutella?

Forget the outside world for a while and dive deep into your (and our) inner world.
